‘My intent with Crowded House, was to create a generous wine with ripeness, richness and more
opulence than many Sauvignon Blancs. It is still less than 13.0% alcohol but I believe this wine has a
great combination of palate weight, length and a smorgasboard of fruit characters.
This wine is an explosion of ripe tropical fruits, thanks to an ideal early ripening season which enabled
us to harvest clean, fresh fruit prior to late season rains.”

Tasting Notes
Colour Pale lemon straw.
Bouquet Tropical ripe passionfruit, pineapple and mango with a hint of lemon.
Palate The palate is soft and refreshing with an initial explosion of ripe tropical notes,
followed by a hint of mineral fl int and freshly cut grass. This approachable and
balanced Marlborough wine fi nishes with a lovely clean zestiness.
